About the Conference
The Scandinavian Model United Nations Conference is a non-profit event, led by students of the International School of Stavanger. We aim to foster meaningful debate in current world issues through a simulation of the UN system. We invite delegates of all levels to participate and improve their skills and knowledge.
At SCANDMUN 2025, we offer 4 different committees for debate. To find out the various topics each forum is going to be debating, click here. The 4 committees are as follows:
The General Assembly (GA)
The Human Rights Council (HRC)
The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
The Security Council (SC)
SCANDMUN is hosted at the International School of Stavanger campus. It provides a wide range of facilities that make hosting the conference there possible. For more information about the venue itself, click here.
