Secretary General: Joanna Rachel Barnabass

Hey guys! My name is Joanna and I’m beyond excited to be your Secretary General of SCANDMUN 2026. Currently in 11th grade, this will be my fourth SCANDMUN conference. When I’m not encouraging (definitely not forcing) people to join the conference, you’ll find me rewatching a movie, playing football and piano, or passionately arguing for a deadline extension! Anyhow, I look forward to meeting you all and making SCANDMUN 2026 an unforgettable experience!

Deputy Secretary General: Marysia Federowicz

hello hello! my name is marysia, im in g12, and this is my fourth and sadly final year of MUNing at SCANDMUN. when im not busy with fruitful debate and the nightmare that is the ib, you'll catch me on a run, a walk with my dog (in all weather conditions), swimming, listening to taylor swift, or simply downing a pepsi max 😛. can't wait to meet all of you in march!!

Head of Admin: Jaiye Akinyoyenu

Hi guys! My name is Jaiye and I’m in 12th grade. Finally, this is my fourth and last SCANDMUN, but my first as Head of Admin. In my free time I’m probably saying hi to everyone in sight, watching too much football (let's go Man United), singing, or most likely at the gym not training legs. Looking forward to a great SCANDMUN!! 👍🏿

Deputy Head of Admin: Anastasia Diaz de Leon

Hi there! I'm Anastasia, a 10th grade student from ISS. This is my second year attending SCANDMUN, but my first serving as Deputy Head of Admin. If you need to ask any questions or need help with anything concerning admin, just let me know, and I'll do my best to help.

The General Assembly

President of the General Assembly: Saanvi Manocha

Hey guys! I’m Saanvi (your favorite chair)! When I’m not daydreaming during debate, you can find me staring at my bank account, praying that the concerning amount of money I spend on clothes magically returns. This is sadly my 4th and last year of SCANDMUN, so I’m super excited to meet all the GA delegates and keep up the tradition of making this the most entertaining forum.

Vice-President of the General Assembly: Eva Siza Salgado Markhus

Hi! My name is Eva, I’m in 12th grade, and I’m honoured to be a co-chair for this year’s GA. This will be my 5th and last SCANDMUN conference. I can easily say it is one of the best experiences of my high school career. Outside of MUN I enjoy cooking, playing the guitar, listening to music, and going to concerts! See you General Assembly-ers in March!

Vice-President of the General Assembly: Lucinda Walker

Hi I’m Lucinda and I’m in 10th grade. I will be Vice-President for GA. This is my first year participating in SCANDMUN and I am very excited to make so many great memories. Outside of school I like listening to music, going out with my friends, and spending endless amounts of money. I can’t wait to meet all of you and make GA the best forum.

The Human Rights Council

President of the Human Rights Council: Nikhilkanth Chandra Mohan

Hello my name is Nikhil and I'm in grade 10. I am the president of HRC. It's my second year at SCANDMUN but my first being a chair. Outside of MUN and academics I love playing baseball and hanging out with my friends. Thrilled to meet all of you and be the best forum this year (definitely better than any forum)!

Vice-President of the Human Rights Council: Shashank Rao

Hi guys! My name is Shashank, and this is my last year of SCANDMUN. When I’m not grinding to 15k trophies during debate, I’m out playing basketball or watching ferrari lose. I’m excited to meet you all, and hope I can make the conference fun.

Vice-President of the Human Rights Council: Alicia Alex

Hi everyone!! My name is Alicia, and I will be one of your Vice Chairs for the HRC forum this year. I am an 11th grader at ISS and this is my third year of MUN. Outside of debate you might find me playing some sort of instrument or maybe attempting to bake or paint. I am VERY excited for this upcoming conference and looking forward to meeting you all in March!

The Economic and Social Council

President of the Economic and Social Council: Yermoné Alcalá

hey guys, my name is Yermoné. I'm from Spain and this is my second year in SCANDMUN. I'm in 10th grade and I'm so excited to be the ECOSOC president this yearrr. When I'm not crashing out about whatever is going on in my life, I'm either listening to music, watching a show or yapping (a bit loudly sometimes) about whatever. Hope to make ECOSOC the best forum this year and no matter what anyone says IM the best chair (don't fall for fake news 🫣👀)

Vice-President of the Economic and Social Council: Maia Delabroy

Hey guys, I’m Maia. I’m the best chair; contrary to what the worst chair said in ECOSOC. I hope to make debate fun and smooth, letting everyone have a say and making the most out of this MUN. I’m an icehockey player, half Greek, half French and I like too many things to count but I’ll make sure you all have a good time in SCANDMUN!

Vice-President of the Economic and Social Council: Austen Denning

Hello, my name is Austen, I’ve turned 17 as of recent and I’m happy to have returned to the ISS and helping with the upcoming conference!

I have several interests, mainly nerdy-type stuff (hehe) or music related. As you can see, I’ve played piano for nearly three years. I also play tuba in a school band and sing in choir here at the ISS. I take interest in philosophy and psychology too!

The Security Council

Co-President of the Security Council: Marcus Sørheim

Hey guys! My name is Marcus and I’m in grade 10. This is my 2nd year of MUN and my first year chairing at SCANDMUN. When I’m not writing resolutions or chairing debates, I enjoy listening to music, playing video-games and football ⚽️ or hanging out with friends. Can’t wait to entertain some efficient and fun debates in the Security Council!!

Co-President of the Security Council: Samridh Satheeshkumar

Hello everyone. My name is Samridh 'Sam' and I am in 10th grade. I have been participating in MUN for two years and I am so looking forward to meeting the delegates for SCANDMUN 2026 (especially the 15 SC delegates). When I am not debating, you can find me listening to music, playing basketball, and just trying to survive high school with enthusiasm. Along with my co-chair, Marcus, lets make SC the best forum, and I hope everyone has a memorable experience.
